If you are trying to add additional cameras and/or a 3rd party DVR or NVR and do not see all of your devices populating in the Cameras subtab, we recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
- Verify that the cameras and/or DVR or NVRs are connected properly and that there are activity lights on both ends of the ethernet cable
- Reboot the switch that the cameras and/or DVR or NVRs are plugged into
If neither of these troubleshooting steps result in your devices populating in the Cameras subtab, there’s a good chance that your devices exist on another subnet that the appliance is not currently connected with. This Knowledge Base article will walk you through how to set up a static IP address on your appliance in the same subnet range as your devices so that you can access your other cameras or 3rd party DVR or NVRs and ingest them into your Spot AI dashboard.
